One Year Ago

The weeks go by so fast! Goodness!  The week has been pretty hectic on top of home schooling, but we got things done.  He took 4 practice tests in Soc. Stu, Sci, English, and Word Building.  He was about 3 pages behind in Math, got caught up - he just needs to take the practice test so he can take all 5 tests on Monday.

We didn’t have class on Monday, so we did pretty good considering we only schooled 3 days this week.  We also didn’t do any crafts this week! *gasp*  However, next week - we have to make 3 birthday cards and a card for Memaw.  So that’s a card everyday!

My Bud made really good grades in all practice tests also.  Although, we need to study more in English, but I told him an 88 is still really good.  He made 100 in Sci, SS and Word Building so he was really happy about that.

I also ordered our next set of Paces.  1007!!!  Woohoo!

Better run for now!

Week coming to a close

and we will be testing in our homeschool tomorrow.  I am hoping he gets done really early so we can head out to my mom’s house.

He will taking check ups in the following subjects:

English

Word Building

Math

Social Studies

Science

It shouldn’t take more than hour and then we will be off! I told him that if he does really good (all A’s), I will take him to McDonald’s.

I also have a trip planned for Friday to go to the Super Wal-Mart.  We’ll see how well he behaves. The last two times we have gone, he has not been able to get anything.

Oh well, I’m off to clean!

:)

Moses Craft

Welcome to my most challenging part of my life!

Home schooling my 6 year old son has to be one of the hardest yet most gratifying things I have encountered.  We are now at the half way mark of 1st grade.  Walk with me as I put my trust God to be the One Who gets us through!!

God bless all who read!
